GMO/Toxin Free USA’s Recommendations to the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB)
- Place entire class of PFAS chemicals on the National List of Prohibited Substances
- Phase out use of fluorinated plastic containers and packaging
- Phase out use of fossil fuel-based plastic containers and packaging
- Phase out use of plastic mulch and tarps for growing
- Compile and post in the Federal Register a list of all "inert" ingredients used in organic production and begin evaluating them
